Our lodge was established in 1992 on Chincoteague Island on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. We were chartered as Lodge 62 in April of 1993. The meeting locations eventually moved to more centralized locations since Chincoteague Island is on the northern end of Accomack County near the Maryland state line.
Today, Lodge 62 consists of active and retired law enforcement officers living in the Virginia Eastern Shore counties of Accomack and Northampton. Our membership includes troopers from the Virginia Department of State Police, as well as officers from Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, Virginia Marine Resource Commission, Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel Authority Police, local municipal police departments and retired officers from various federal, state and local law enforcement agencies.
We have approximately 50 active members.
